Clinical Innovations to Participate in the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses Convention


Clinical Innovations, one of the largest medical device companies exclusively focused on labor and delivery and the neonatal intensive care unit, will join in the 2017 Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) Convention at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, from June 24 - 28.

Clinical Innovations will also host the second annual "forMom, forBaby, forLife," educational forum led by top experts in labor and delivery and neonatal care, M. Terese Verklan, RNC, CCNS, Ph.D., FAAN, and Carol J. Harvey, MS.

The AWHONN Convention is the largest educational event for women's health and neonatal nurses in the U.S. More than 3,200 clinicians and 240 exhibitors gather each year for educational programs, leadership training and networking sessions highlighting the latest medical innovations and best practices in neonatal healthcare.

Clinical Innovations will be on the exhibit floor (Booth #549), sharing new product information and demonstrations of its innovative devices, including the recently launched ebb® Complete Tamponade System, a rapid-deployment device that effectively treats postpartum hemorrhage (PPH). Attendees can also practice hands-on with the new low-fidelity, PPH trainer, or schedule onsite PPH training at their own facilities after the conference.

At this year's annual meeting Clinical Innovations is also proud to participate in the premiere of the Trusted Leaders program along with AWHONN and other medical device companies. The Trusted Leaders program is a video created through a number of industry educational grants and AWOHNN that showcases the dedication of AWOHNN, its members along with industry leading Companies like Clinical Innovations on the many ways medical devices improve the health and outcomes of Mothers and Babies. Ebb and its use in postpartum hemorrhage will be featured in this video. The video will be available over the next year on the AWOHNN website.
