Ultimate Software Customer Wins Nucleus Research Technology ROI Award for Return on Human Capital Management Investment

Ultimate Software (Nasdaq: ULTI), a leading provider of human capital management (HCM) solutions in the cloud, announced today that Ultimate customer PACE Center for Girls is a winner of Nucleus Research's 2017 ROI Award for its deployment of UltiPro, with an exceptional ROI of more than 10 times the investment. The PACE Center for Girls ROI case study was one of 10 total winners selected.

PACE Center for Girls, Inc., is a nationally recognized social-impact organization serving almost 3,000 middle school- and high school-aged girls each year through a network of 19 centers across Florida. The organization went live on UltiPro in April 2013 to address concerns with payroll processes, data integrity, HR operations, and the employee experience.

"UltiPro enabled PACE to improve HR while cutting costs through efficiencies and automation, reducing turnover with actionable data, and increasing productivity across the HR-processing cycle," said Yessica Cancel, chief operating officer for PACE. "We were pleased to have the opportunity to participate in an analysis by a third party that could validate the investment we made in UltiPro. When HR leaders invest in HCM solutions, it is truly an investment in their organization that will pay off."

"For the past 15 years, we've recognized the technology projects that deliver exceptional value," said Brent Skinner, principle analyst at Nucleus Research. "PACE Center's impressive ROI is a tribute to UltiPro's ability to deliver meaningful and measurable change across an organization. With Ultimate's HCM solution, PACE improved the employee experience and gained operational insights that have saved the organization millions."

Nucleus Research's 15th annual Technology ROI Awards highlight organizations that have successfully leveraged IT deployments to maximize value per dollar spent. These awards honor the top 10 implementations, with returns this year averaging about 10 times their initial investments. Nucleus Research analysts perform an independent ROI assessment calculating the actual business benefits and ROI achieved by the project. Each submission is reviewed and evaluated by the Nucleus Research analyst team, and the winners are chosen strictly based on the ROI achieved.

"ltiPro has been a game changer for us. We are saving money and improving employee engagement," said Cancel. "We were experiencing a turnover of 60%, costing us nearly $2.3 million per year. Now, after almost four years of UltiPro, we have been able to reduce turnover by half, and we continue to improve."

"Our solutions were created to benefit both organizations and their employees, and we are very pleased to see a people-focused organization such as PACE experiencing such outstanding results," said Scott Scherr, CEO, president, and founder of Ultimate. "We are glad Ultimate has been able to support PACE in its mission to help young women."
