Foundation Software Invests in Further Growth, Expands into Second BuildingFoundation Software, Inc., developer of FOUNDATION®, America's #1 Construction Accounting Software, announced today that it has expanded into an additional building to accommodate for its rapid growth. Since its founding in 1985, Foundation Software has set out to serve the business needs of the construction industry. When the company moved into the Ode Family Corporate Campus (17999 Foltz Parkway, Strongsville) in 2013, the building was only 35% full. Executives believed it would take seven to nine years to grow into the 48,000 sq. ft. building. However, four years later, the company's growth and success led to a shortage of office space. CEO/chairman Fred Ode says, "Since stepping out of the recession, we've seen seven straight years of accelerated, organic growth, and that honestly caught us of guard. But running out of space for our almost 250 talented employees is a pretty good problem to have." The new Ode Family Satellite Campus is located at 21337 Drake Road, just 0.9 miles away from the corporate campus. After purchasing the new property, the company completely gutted and remodeled the space that once held 40 to 60 closed offices into an open floor plan. Although the two buildings are within a mile of one another, President Mike Ode says it was a difficult decision to determine which department to move to the new campus. While he says it's a challenging transition to not to have the entire staff under one roof, "it's also very exciting that we continue to grow and prosper." Foundation Software has hired 36 new employees in 2017 and does not have plans to slow that trend. The recent expansion means that more technology jobs will be available in the industrial park, and the company plans to continue to make a presence in their community including Strongsville, Cuyahoga County and the state of Ohio.
