Telco Systems Wins Gold Medal for Best NFV Solution at IT World Awards

MANSFIELD, Massachusetts, June 15, 2017 /PRNewswire/ --

Telco Systems, the leading provider of innovative CE 2.0, MPLS, IP, SDN/NFV solutions, today announced that the company has won the gold medal award for the Best IT Solution for Network Functions Virtualization at the 12th Annual
IT World Awards.

The IT World Awards is an annual achievements and recognition program highlighting the year's best products, services and technologies in all sectors of information technology.

Telco Systems won this award recognition for its NFVTime solution used by telcos and managed service providers to launch and manage NFV services.

NFVTime is an open, service-ready, plug-and-play vCPE solution that delivers a complete service environment for telcos and managed service providers to smoothly and rapidly launch NFV services. NFVTime integrates x86 white box hardware, a carrier-class NFVi-OS and a broad portfolio of certified VNFs that are centrally managed and orchestrated.

With NFVTime, any VNF service, including SD-WAN, vRouter, vFirewall, vProbe, vSecurity and much more, can be remotely launched at any time with a short time-to-market, supporting flexible deployment models and zero touch service provisioning. By virtualizing the CPE and network functions, NFVTime allows service providers to create new revenue generating opportunities and significantly reduce the operational complexity and expenses to deploy and manage these new services.

Telco Systems recently announced a joint open vCPE solution with Silver Peak, which allows remotely adding new VNF in parallel to or as part of a service chain with SD-WAN services.

Telco Systems also recently announced a joint partnership with Advantech to deliver a high performance open vCPE solution running on cost-optimized targeted at the SMB market segment.

"Today, there is absolutely no need for enterprises to continue stacking devices and struggle to deploy and manage many IT and security solutions given the alternative that virtualization provides," stated Ariel Efrati, CEO of Telco Systems. "We are proud to receive this award for our NFVTime solution and see this recognition as a validation of our strategy to help our telco and managed service provider customers capitalize on this great market opportunity."

Telco Systems reports that the company is also experiencing increasing demand for NFVTime directly from enterprises that want to continue to manage their network functions internally and benefit from automated remote provisioning across their entire corporate networks.

Telco Systems is currently offering proof-of-concept and production trials of its NFVTime solution to qualified telcos and managed service providers.
