Ping Identity is seeing great momentum across its business, particularly with large global enterprises. 80 percent of Ping's customers report revenues of more than US $1.5 billion, and the company's overseas business has grown to contribute more than a quarter of new bookings. Ping's multi-factor authentication and access security customers grew by nearly 40 percent and more than 50 percent, respectively. More than 1,500 of the world's most demanding enterprises, including over half of the Fortune 100, trust the Ping Identity Platform to accelerate their employees' move to the cloud, deliver a rich customer experience and quickly onboard partners as part of their digital transformation strategies. Ping also hosts the Cloud Identity Summit (CIS), an annual industry-wide identity conference with more than 1,200 attendees and 30 partners registered for the 2017 event in June in Chicago.

The Ping Identity Platform is a unified, standards-based platform for identity and access management that can be deployed as SaaS (News - Alert), software or both, and can scale to handle millions of identities. From multi-factor authentication and single sign-on to access security, a directory and data governance, these capabilities work together to give employees, partners and customers secure access to cloud, mobile and enterprise applications, securing and streamlining everything from sign-on to sign-off and everything in between.

"Gartner estimates that the AM market revenue for the vendors covered in this Magic Quadrant was $1.2 billion at the end of 2016." The firm states that market condiions for AM are evolving, "what was once considered a mature market for web access management that served only web browser clients and web applications using static or semistatic data for access decisions, has evolved to one that better supports more diversity in user authentication methods, contextual and adaptive access, mobile computing, internet-connected things and API target systems."

"Access Management is core to every company's digital transformation journey, and Ping continues to be uniquely positioned to help global enterprises achieve their strategic initiatives," said Andre Durand, CEO of Ping Identity. "Our investments in building and expanding the Ping Identity Platform, delivering best-in-class customer success and working with the strongest ecosystem of technology partners and global systems integrators, continues to pay dividends, much to the delight of our growing customer base."
