Unisys Federal President Venkatapathi "PV" Puvvada Elected Vice Chair of Professional Services Council Executive Committee and Board of Directors

RESTON, Va., June 2, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Unisys Corporation (NYSE: UIS) today announced that Venkatapathi "PV" Puvvada, president of Unisys Federal, was elected to serve as vice chair of the Professional Services Council (PSC) executive committee and board of directors.

PSC is an industry trade group that represents the interests of technology and professional services companies serving the federal government. In his new role at PSC, Puvvada will take a broad leadership role in developing and implementing the group's strategy and direction.

In December 2016, Unisys announced that Puvvada was re-elected to a new three-year term on the PSC board of directors and newly elected to serve on its executive committee. He also was appointed to chair PSC's Civilian Agencies Council that focuses on the acquisition policies and strategies of federal civilian agencies, including the departments of Homeland Security, Veterans Affairs, Health and Human Services and Energy.
