Huawei Leaders to Educate & Present During Big Communications Event (BCE) in Austin, Texas

PLANO, Texas, May 15, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Huawei leaders will host booth #B413 at Light Reading's 2017 Big Communications Event to showcase the company's latest cutting-edge technologies, including industry-leading 4.5G/5G, SDN/NFV, gigabit access, Internet of Things (IoT), and microwave solutions, among others. The event is scheduled to take place from May 15-17 at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, Texas.

The Huawei-sponsored event will bring together more than 1,200 industry experts and executives to discuss the latest developments within the telecommunications industry, including how network operators can prepare for various operational, financial and technical transformations within the telecom sector.

During the event, Huawei's Senior Vice President of Solutions and Marketing, George Reed, will discuss the latest global Smart IoT applications and use cases during an "IoT and Smart Applications" keynote address on May 16 at 4:15 p.m.

• Dr. Nermin Mohamed, vice president of solutions and marketing, will participate in "The Next-Gen Central Office/Head End" panel on May 16 at 4:30 p.m.
