Mr. Abbasi previously served as Violin's Chief Operating Officer, and has an established track record in both leading established companies to substantial growth and leading turnaround companies to success. Prior to joining Violin®, Ebrahim served as president of Roamware, Inc. (now Mobileum Inc.), where he was responsible for restructuring and refocusing the company on a successful growth plan. Prior to Roamware, Mr. Abbasi was resident and chief operating offier at Force10 Networks Inc., where he transformed the company into a major cloud computing provider and led its acquisition by Dell Inc. in 2011. Before joining Force10, Mr. Abbasi was senior vice president and chief operating officer/chief information officer for Redback Networks, Inc., where he directly contributed to the turnaround of the company's corporate operations functions that led to the acquisition by Ericsson in 2006.
