Deloitte's Jim Soligan Named to NCOIC Board of Directors


WASHINGTON, April 25, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- James Soligan, director, Deloitte Consulting LLP, has joined the Network Centric Operations Industry Consortium board of directors and will work with other senior leaders from business, government and academia to address complex interoperability issues that affect global interdependence and collaboration.

At Deloitte, Soligan (Lt Gen USAF, Ret.) helps Department of Defense agencies and military forces resolve process improvement, efficiency and mission effectiveness challenges associated with downsizing, reorganization and budget reductions. He advises domestic and international clients on working with the U.S. government on capability requirements from a national, interagency and alliance perspective. He also has worked with the National Security Council, Department of State, U.S. ambassadors and national armaments directors on finding ways to streamline multinational capability development.

Soligan joined Deloitte after serving 36 years in the U.S. Air Force and two years in Senior Executive Service within DOD. In his most recent position as director for Transatlantic Security Studies at National Defense Univrsity, he led efforts to share and streamline national, NATO and European Union capability development programs in the areas of multinational command and control, intelligence and reconnaissance, and cybersecurity.
