Blink Health Appoints Former U.S. Senator Kelly Ayotte as Senior Advisor


Blink Health today announced the appointment of Kelly Ayotte as Senior Advisor to the firm.

Senator Ayotte, 48, most recently served as a United States Senator for the State of New Hampshire from 2011 to 2017. Prior to her election to the Senate, she served as New Hampshire's first female Attorney General from 2004-2009, having been appointed to that position by both Republican and Democratic governors.

Ayotte's appointment as Senior Advisor to Blink Health follows her exceptional leadership of the White House's confirmation team for Associate Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch.

During Ayotte's tenure in the Senate, Ayotte was ranked as one of the most bipartisan senators working across party lines to find solutions to our nation's biggest challenges. Senator Ayotte chaired the Armed Services Subcommittee on Readiness and the Commerce Subcommittee on Aviation Operations. She also served on the Senate Armed Services, Budget, Commerce, Science and Transportation, Homeland Security and Government Affairs, Small Business and Entrepreneurship and Aging Committees. On the Commerce Committee, she served on the Subcommittee on Communications, Technology, Innovation and the Internet.

Senator Ayotte took a lead role in passing the Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act, a comprehensive response to improve prevention, treatment and recovery efforts to address the nation's opioid addition epidemic. She helped pass legislation to improve mental health first aid training, suicide prevention programs, and the treatment of eating disorders and was named 2014 Legislator of the Year by the National Council of Behavioral Health.


In addition to being named a Senior Advisor with Blink, Ayotte was recently elected to the News Corp's (News - Alert) Board of Directors. News Corp is the parent company of numerous publishers including The Wall Street Journal, Barron's, and The New York Post.
