Farsight Security Expands Executive Team to Accelerate Company GrowthSAN MATEO, Calif., April 10, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Following a record-breaking Q1 2017, Farsight Security, Inc., provider of the world’s largest real-time DNS threat intelligence, today announced the company has expanded its technical and business teams to build on this success and accelerate company growth. Anne Hiller is named Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships. Daniel Schwalbe joins as Director of Engineering, replacing Ben April, who now leads the company’s newly formed Research team as Director of Research, and Tony Patti joins as Director of New Business. “Anne, Daniel and Tony are proven industry leaders and I am delighted to have them join Farsight. As Director of Engineering, Daniel will execute our product vision as well as provide technical leadership to our highly experienced technical team. On the business side, Anne and Tony will help drive revenue for the company and build new relationships with partners and commercial and government organizations who want to consume our data. Ms. Hiller has extensive experience in business development and marketing for Internet security solution providers. Prior to joining Farsight, she served as Vice President of Marketing for 41st Parameter, a provider of person-not-present fraud detection solutions acquired by Experian. Ms. Hiller was also Vice President of Marketing for Identity Engines, provider of NAC/IAM appliances and Best-of-Interop winner. Earlier in her career, she was Senior Vice President of Business Develpment and Marketing at WholeSecurity, which was acquired by Symantec and its zero-hour behavioral malware detection solution embedded in Norton products as SONAR. Prior to joining Farsight, Mr. Schwalbe served as Associate Chief Information Security Officer at the University of Washington, where his focus areas were threat intelligence, information sharing and asset based risk management. He is an active contributor and speaker in the information security community, and previously served on the board of directors for the REN-ISAC. A U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Schwalbe has a BA in Communications from the University of Washington and CISSP, CISM, CIPP/US, CSFA certifications. Mr. Patti has more than 15 years of experience developing and implementing new sales strategies, tactics, and plans to drive revenue and reduce operating costs for technology organizations. Previously, he served as the Senior Director of Sales at Embarcadero Technologies, where he successfully built and led sales teams selling to F100 companies in all verticals, more than doubling revenue during his tenure at the company.
