Athene Holding Ltd. Announces the Pricing and Upsizing of Secondary Offering of Common SharesBermuda-based Athene Holding Ltd. ("Athene") announced today the pricing of an underwritten secondary offering (the "Offering") of 27,500,000 of its Class A common shares, an increase of 2,500,000 Class A common shares from the original offering amount, at a price to the public of $48.50 per share. All of the Class A common shares are being sold by certain shareholders of Athene, and Athene will not receive any proceeds from the Offering. The underwriters have a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 4,125,000 Class A common shares (an increase of 375,000 Class A common shares from the original offering amount) from certain of the selling shareholders at the Offering price of $48.50 per share, less the underwriting discount. Athene's Class A common shares on the New York Stock Exchange are listed under the symbol "ATH." The closing of the offering is expected to occur on April 3, 2017, subject to satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
