On Premise Signs and Graphics Help Visitors Find and Identify Facilities

CARROLLTON, Texas, March 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- With the first quarter of the year almost complete, organizations assessing their business results and marketing programs shouldn't overlook the use of a simple, yet powerful success driver: the ability of people to find a facility or location. From vendors and customers to potential employees and prospects, on premise signs and visual graphics play a unique and critical role by branding the site of the business or organization and enhancing its visibility.

"A lack of effective signage can lead to frustrated visitors, missed opportunities or even lost sales," said Drue Townsend, Senior VP of Marketing of FASTSIGNS International, Inc. "The right signs and graphics outside can mean more business on the inside."

When regional real estate developer Woodmont Properties was leasing a new property that was set far back off the road, they utilized site signs near high traffic areas to draw potential tenants in.

Monument or digital marquee signs placed near property entrances and on main roads help draw visitors in, while dimensional letters on buildings and colorfulawnings identify entrances.

"One of the best compliments we can receive as a healthcare provider is on how visible our signage is, which makes us more accessible to the community," said John Gallucci, Jr., President and Founder of JAG Physical Therapy. "Our goal and purpose is to be a resource for our local communities—our signs help keep us in front of our audience."

Other strategies for increasing visibility can also include using temporary signs such as pole banners, teardrop flags or fence graphics.

If companies and organizations wait until people complain about their struggle to find them, they will miss out on opportunities. Making on premise signs and visual graphics a priority to increase visibility contributes to business growth and improves the visitor's experience.
