Globoforce Celebrates Opening of New U.S. Headquarters

Globoforce®, a leading provider of social recognition solutions, today unveiled its new U.S. headquarters in Framingham, Mass in a grand opening event and ribbon-cutting ceremony. Formerly located in Southborough, Mass., the new, state-of-the-art headquarters are designed to represent Globoforce's mission to inspire greater humanity, productivity, and teamwork in the workplace.

"The way organizations and teams work is changing. The shift away from the industrial age of HR to the human era necessitates more human-centric approaches at work that take advantage of the way people work today, which is built around social connections and organizational communities," said Eric Mosley, CEO of Globoforce. "The new space has been designed to promote cross-functional collaboration and inclusion. Our team works tirelessly to help more than 3 million employees around the world have positive experiences at work. We help build award-winning cultures and strive to emulate these same practices in our own work environment."

"Globoforce's mission to promote greater humanity in the workplace is one I encourage all companies, particularly those in Massachusetts, to stand behind," said state Sen. Karen E. Spilka, D-Ashland, who inaugurated Globoforce's new headquarters. "We are proud to be home to a company dedicated to not only changing the world of work, but growing our economy and supporting our local workforce. We look forward to celebrating Globoforce's continued growth and expanding presence locally, nationally, and abroad."

Globoforce is hailed as both a Great Place to Work®, and Top Place to Work by the Boston Globe. The company's new headquarters encompass more than 55,000 square-feet and occupy two floors. The human-centric office features digital walls, floor-to-ceiling glass windows, stairwells with inspirational messages, phone booths for personal phone calls, collaboration spaces, relaxation ares, and a game area. A wellness room offers yoga, meditation and amenities for new mothers, while the Globocafe provides employees with healthy snacks, a coffee bar, and a grassy area with Adirondack chairs.

The Globostar logo, which has star rays that symbolize unity, inspiration and innovation, are featured throughout the new space in ceiling designs, stairwells, and wall graphics. Additional infographics on the walls of the office illustrate Globoforce's history and the company's vision of what it means to work human.

"At Globoforce, we continually strive to deliver positive experiences that empower our people to bring new innovations and ideas that can transform our business," said Niamh Graham, vice president of Global HR, Globoforce. "We designed our new office space to be inclusive of all people, while also promoting greater social recognition and humanity in the modern workplace. As part of our continued growth and expansion, we continue to hire across all departments, seeking the very best to join our award-winning workplace and culture."
