Latin American Supply Chains Go Digital with SAP Ariba

Procurement isn't a set of discreet tasks performed in silos. It's a connected process carried out across many functions and geographies. And the solutions used to drive it need to be linked and support this process from end to end. Leading companies across Latin America recognize this and are tapping into the cloud-based applications and business network of SAP Ariba to digitize their supply chains and more simply and efficiently manage their trading relationships and spend.

More than 17,000 buyers and sellers in Latin America are connected to the Ariba® Network. During the last 12 months, these companies have exchanged more than 1 million purchase orders worth close to $18 billion and more than two 2 million invoices valued at nearly $ 7.4 billion. Next week, many of these companies will share the stories of their success at SAP Ariba Live, the premier business commerce conference to be held at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas March 20-22.

"Supply chains around the world are undergoing radical modernization as companies leverage technology to improve processes and change the way that work gets done," said Catalina Manrique, Vice President, SAP (News - Alert) Ariba Latin America. "The key to success in this new era lies in connected, digital solutions that support the entire source-to-settle process and provide a gateway for collaboration - both within and beyond the enterprise - on a global scale."
