Packet Design CTO to Address Multi-Layer SDN Management at MPLS + SDN + NFV World Congress

Packet Design (News - Alert) CTO Cengiz Alaettinoglu will be in Paris next week to speak at the company's third annual Customer Symposium and at the MPLS + SDN + NFV World Congress. Expanding upon the World Congress theme of evolving from management to orchestration, he will discuss the need for centralized service orchestration directing traffic across IP/MPLS and optical layers.

MPLS + SDN + NFV World Congress:

Session Title: Service-Centric Management of Multi-Layer Software Defined Networks

Date/Time: Thursday, March 23, 5:30 p.m. Central European Time

Topic: Cengiz will present several multi-layer use cases that adapt the lower layers of the network to the needs of the IP/MPLS layer. He will also illustrate orchestration of services using SDN controllers in the IP/MPLS and ptical layers, focusing on operational use cases for deploying new services and ensuring their constraints. In addition, he will provide an example of maintaining network efficiency under failure conditions.

Packet Design is a Silver Sponsor and will be exhibiting in Booth 402.

Packet Design Customer Symposium:

Before the event, Packet Design will host its third annual Paris Customer Symposium on March 19-20. Cengiz will discuss how SDN path provisioning can address several common SDN use cases. Industry keynote speaker Caroline Chappell, principal analyst with analyst firm Analysys Mason, will update attendees on SDN adoption by network operators, SDN business drivers and use cases, and the role of analytics and orchestration in enabling network transformation.

The Symposium will also include sessions on technical education, service assurance best practices, and early SDN deployments by Packet Design customers. In addition, attendees will learn about the company's new SDN analytics and orchestration capabilities, including a path provisioning application, as well as highlights of the product roadmap.

The Symposium is free for Packet Design customers with current maintenance contracts. Register here: http://go.packetdesign.com/customer-symposium-paris-2017.

Both events will be held at the Marriott Rive Gauche Hotel & Conference Center.
