Over 100 Companies Sign-up 3 Months After Beta Launch

NEEDHAM, Mass., March 9, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Intro-act announced that over 100 publicly traded companies listed in the Russell 3000 Index have registered as members of its analytics platform within the first 100 days of launching the beta product.  Intro-act's machine learning platform helps CEOs, CFOs, Investor Relations Officers (IROs) and institutional investors better target the investors that are most likely to buy or sell their shares in the next 90 days.

There are three aspects of the Intro-act platform that make it different from other targeting and surveillance solutions:

  1. Intro-act's targeting is integrated into a work flow that optimizes investor/corporate access.  Traditional targeting and surveillance solutions are primarily focused on helping IROs more accurately profile investors. Intro-act takes this a step further integrating it within the investor meeting procurement and preparation processes.
  2. Intro-act offers big data analytics to optimize match-making.  Traditional targeting is based on investor characteristics such as style, size, location, industry preferences and peer company ownership. In addition to these characteristics, Intro-act adds predictive aspcts including fundamental, valuation, and sentiment factors that can determine which stocks a particular investor is likely to be more attracted to buy or sell at a given time.
  3. Intro-act is independent and works with your existing brokers to procure meetings. Institutional investors are increasingly shrinking the list of brokers that they are working with to source corporate access meetings.  Being an analytics company, Intro-act has no economic incentive in the meeting procurement, which enables it to work with the best broker for each event with no conflicts of interest.

"We are proud of our analytics' efficacy and our beta product came to market months ahead of plan. There is a marked improvement in our predictability every month." said Anand Tharanipathy, CTO of Intro-act.

"We are early in our path to commercialization and it is clear that IROs struggle to optimize the ROI on their investor access campaigns and are hungry to improve their investor targeting capabilities." said Ken Nixon, Head of Sales and Business Development for Intro-act.
