Arnot Health, Inc. Chooses Harris Healthcare Emergency Department Information System

Arnot Health, Inc. (AHI) selected Harris Healthcare ED PulseCheck for a state-of-the-art, fully integrated Emergency Department Information System (EDIS). In February, Harris Healthcare successfully implemented the initial "Go Live" phase with Arnot Health Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital ED. The St. Joseph Hospital "Go Live" launch is scheduled for March, immediately following with Arnot Ogden Medical Center in April.

AHI's aim was to expand on its value of excellence for the highest clinical quality, patient safety, and patient, physician and employee satisfaction. With the existing Harris Healthcare QCPR Electronic Health Record partnership, ED PulseCheck was integrated to support its goals of improving Emergency Department efficiency and patient care across all three facilities.

Executive Vice President for Harris Healthcare Clinical Solutions, Santina Allen, said, "We have successfully integrated two of our market-leading products. The bi-directional exchange of patient data between Harris Healthcare's ED PulseCheck and QCPR Electronic Health Record gives AHI the specialized workflows they need to meet the fast-paced demands of the ED as well as a single comprehensive patient record across the care continuum."

Gregg Martin, Chief Information Officer, Arnot Health, said, "I am thrilled to have the level of collaboration and response of the Harris Healthcare QCPR and ED PulseCheck integration teams. Harris Healthcare has a proven best in KLAS level EDIS and EHR integrated solution. I'm pleased with the level of client support Harris Healthcare provided throughout the process. These combined solutions will optimize Arnot Health's critical care environments so that transfer of patient data, such as medication orders, medication history and allergies, occur in real-time. This decreases issues with double entries or errors as patients are transferred from the ED to inpatient/outpatient care."

Harris Healthcare QCPR is a comprehensive, fully integrated and patient-centric ONC-ACB Certified electronic health record (EHR) solution which provides robust clinical decision support and promotes best practices. The solution can be implemented along the entire continuum of care from the Ambulatory clinic to the Acute Care Areas to Home Care.

Harris Healthcare recognizes the unique needs and challenges of specialized care areas such as the Emergency Department and added ED PulseCheck to complement its portfolio. PulseCheck is the high-performance EMR module that helps hospitals improve quality of care measures in the emergency department. It provides full ED clinical documentation, so clinicians can better manage the unique ED workflow, drive clinical quality of patient care, and improve charge capture and financial performance. Harris Healthcare's QCPR and ED PulseCheck solutions seamlessly work hand in hand sharing data to improve patient safety, efficiency, clinical outcomes, and financial performance. QCPR, an enterprise level EHR, alongside ED PulseCheck, a best-of-breed clinical solution, really provide a "best of both worlds" solution for the Healthcare Enterprise.
