TransPerfect Opens Sophia Antipolis Location

NEW YORK, Feb. 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- TransPerfect, the world's largest privately held provider of language services and translation-related technologies, today announced that it has opened its newest location in Sophia Antipolis, France.

The new office, the company's third in France, is located in Sophia Antipolis—one of Europe's most prominent technology parks and considered to be France's "Silicon Valley", with more than 1,500 businesses occupying over one million square meters of office space. Sophia Antipolis serves as the France operations hub for companies including Intel, Samsung, Accenture, Cisco, and HP.

TransPerfect's decision to augment its existing France presence comes in direct response to growing demand for the services and technologies that globally minded organizations use to power international business, as well as the need to centralize technology development that will benefit the company's clients around the world.

The Sophia Antipolis location will serve as both a technology center and a production hub, with integrated teams focused on developing the company's translation management, media, and machine translation offerings, as well as other technology-centered initiatives.

The office is led by Eric Blassin, Executive Director of Technology for the company's Translations.com divisin. Blassin will lead the on-site teams and also head the recruitment process for additional talent for the growing location.
