Guidance Software, makers of EnCase®, the gold standard for endpoint data security and digital investigations, and EnForce™, an automated cyber risk management platform, today announced that former White House CIO Theresa Payton will give the keynote address at Enfuse 2017 on Wednesday, May 24. Payton is one of America's most respected authorities on Internet security, net crime, fraud mitigation, and technology implementation.

"Protecting the millions of people who use the Internet daily against cyber threats may be the greatest security challenge of our time," said Payton. "As White House CIO, I faced some of the most serious cyber threats first hand. I'm excited to join the passionate community of cybersecurity experts and investigators at Enfuse 2017 who are working on the front lines in the battle to stop cyber threats."

Now in its 17th year, Enfuse 2017 boasts more than 100 sessions in eight tracks and offers unequaled labs, practical, hands-on solution training, and access to executive leaders.

"We are delighted to have a leader of Theresa's stature bring her expertise and insight to this year's conference," said Michael Harris (News - Alert), chief marketing officer at Guidance Software. "Enfuse attendees include cybersecurity executives, incident responders, digital investigators, and security professionals who come together to share knowledge, test best practices, and prepare for the next generation of cybersecurity threats."

The annual event, which will be held from May 22-25 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, is one of the largest international gatherings focused on current trends in cybersecurity, information risk manaement, and digital investigations.
