Avant Welcomes Grant Miles as Chief Risk Officer

CHICAGO, Feb. 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Avant is pleased to welcome Grant Miles, a financial industry veteran with global banking giant HSBC, as Chief Risk Officer of the company. Mr. Miles has served as a special advisor to Avant for the past two years on areas ranging from risk management and underwriting to quantitative methods and modeling.

Mr. Miles has over 33 years of industry experience including several roles with HSBC North America Limited and HSBC Holdings LLC London. Mr. Miles most recently servd as Chief Risk Officer and Executive Vice President for HSBC's US Consumer and Mortgage Lending businesses. Mr. Miles also served as Group Head of Risk for Cards and Managing Director for Retail Cobrand Cards, where he oversaw the successful launch of three retail cobrand programs across the Visa, MasterCard and American Express brands.
