SAP Ariba Recognized as a Leader by Top Tier Research Firms


When it comes to procurement, SAP Ariba is recognized by top-tier research firms as a leader in core technology that is driving the function. Gartner identified SAP (News - Alert) Ariba as such in a key report published in 2016. And Forrester Research cited the company as a Leader for Buy-Side Contracts in The Forrester Wave™: Contract Life-Cycle Management, Q3 2016. A Leader in Procure-to-Pay Suites

In the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Procure-to-Pay Suites, 2016, Gartner Inc. evaluated full-suite procure-to-pay solutions from 12 different software vendors on 12 criteria and jointly placed SAP Ariba and SAP Fieldglass in the Leaders' quadrant based on their completeness of vision and ability to execute.

In its "Vendor Landscape: ePurchasing Suites, 2016 To 2017," published in November 2016, Forrester (News - Alert) Research, Inc. noted "Both Ariba and SAP have been in the ePurchasing game since the late 1990s, and it shows in their market presence and product portfolio. In "The Forrester Wave™: Contract Life-Cycle Management, Q3 2016: The 14 CLM Vendors That Matter Most And How They Stack Up,"(The Forrester Wave™: Contract Life-Cycle Management, Q3 2016, Forrester Research (News - Alert), Inc., July 2016) Forrester evaluated 14 CLM software vendors using 28 criteria. The company also received the highest score among all vendors in the Market Presence category (customer base and revenue) for the Buy-Side portion of the evaluation.
