Bell Let's Talk debuts new 24/7 mental health service: SendOutSupport™

PENTICTON, BC, Jan. 24, 2017 /CNW/ - Bell Let's Talk day will see the official launch of the new 24/7 mental health service: SendOutSupport™. The personalized support system aims to become a standard resource tool in the care, treatment and rehabilitation of mental health sufferers and will be introduced at two Bell Let's Talk events in British Columbia on Jan. 25, 2017.

Created by Margie Hibbard of Penticton, SendOutSupport™ service features a fully customizable 'app' for those suffering from a range of mental health issues (such as depression, post-partum, stress, bereavement, addiction, abuse and a host of other issues). When activated, users can reach out instantly to a wide range of personal and professional support networks as well as progra personal coping strategies, customize messaging and access resources specific to their needs (including national, regional and local crisis centres.).

"The hardest time to ask for support is when you need it most," says founder and owner, Margie Hibbard. "SendOutSupport makes it easier to move through those difficult times. It enables users to reach for help before they resort to negative self-talk or deprecation."

It's customizable to meet the needs of individuals or large mental health care groups, with the option of customized-branding for organizations (white labelling).

SendOutSupportTM encourages people to communicate when it comes to mental health, and is getting behind the Bell Let's Talk initiative by hosting two upcoming events.
