The company more than doubled its annual recurring revenue (ARR) over the past year. Building on this momentum, to scale the company and continue to accelerate growth, Bedrock Data announced that Amy Spurling has been named to the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer (COO), reporting directly to Bedrock Data CEO, Thor Johnson.

Bedrock Data's 2016 accomplishments included:

Significant growth in both new and existing customer revenue, resulting in more than doubling the company's annual recurring revenue
Expanded offerings, including a new release of the Bedrock Data ConnectWise® connector, built on ConnectWise's REST API; new release of the Bedrock Data Marketo connector, built on Marketo's REST API; and expanded supported of HubSpot's API integration including deeper data segmentation capabilities using HubSpot Timelines
Key executive appointments, including: Thor Johnson, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Alan DiPietro, Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), and Zak Pines, Vice President of Marketing

Spurling is a respected operations and financial professional, with over 15 years of leadership experience in strategic planning, international expansion, finance and accounting, human resources, corporate governance and risk management. During her career, she has closed nine rounds of financing totaling more than $200M, and managed two acquisitions to close with values ranging from 10-30x revenue.

Prior to Bedrock Data, Spurling was COO and CFO at Jana Mobile. While at Jana Mobile, Spurling was named CFO of the Year 2016 by Boston Business Journal, after raising $77M in financing in her first nine months, reorganizing operations in three key international markets, and helping to direct marketing and talent retention.

Prior to Jana, Spurling served as CFO for both Backupify and EXOS. Earlier, she managed the acquisition of Maven Networks by Yahoo!. Spurling earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Simmons School of Management.
