Goodix Expands its Portfolio of Global Brands With LG Partnership at CES 2017


At the CES (News - Alert) 2017 trade show, Goodix, premier developer of human interface and biometric solutions for mobile devices, announced the availability of its fingerprint sensor in LG's new K10 and Stylus 3 smartphones. Designed to unlock smartphones quickly and securely, Goodix's rear-mounted sensor also allows LG K10 and LG Stylus 3 users to take high-quality photos and screenshots by touching the sensor.

LG joins a host of global brands such as Amazon, Dell (News - Alert), HP, Toshiba, Panasonic, Nokia, Huawei, vivo, OPPO Xiaomi, ZTE Lenovo and Meizu that have turned to Goodix for its fingerprint sensors and capacitive touch controller chips. In collaboration with global brands, Goodix empowers users to trust activities carried out on their mobile devices, such as transactions and secure information sharing.

Godix's partnership with LG follows the company's recognition last month as a CES 2017 Best of Innovation Awards Winner. This was Goodix's third CES award, after winning two Innovation Awards for products exemplifying outstanding design and engineering in 2016.
