CFM Reimagines Banking Core Integration With the Release of Version 9.0 of S4

CHANDLER, Ariz., Dec. 13, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- CFM, the core-integration expert in banking technology, announces that S4, its flagship platform for connecting cash recyclers and dispensers directly into teller applications, has been reimagined with a whole new look and enhanced features in the release of Version 9.0.  Immediately available to all clients, S4 runs nearly 10,000 cash automation devices across the U.S., and includes institutions such as Navy Federal Credit Union and Wells Fargo among its client list.

Version 9.0 is jam-packed with productivity and interface upgrades that add to the already powerful, zero-footprint enterprise platform. Used to universally drive and manage cash automation machines, including recyclers, dispensers and self-service devices, S4 gives Financial Institutions complete choice in hardware, full functionality and a real-time integration with their banking core to enable branch of the future initiatives like Universal Associates and open designs.

"CFM continues to disrupt banking technology with innovations that empower forward-thinking branch environments and allow bankers to best serve their clients," stated Nathan Moore, CFM's Chief Disruption Officer. "We've always been committed to helping financial institutions solve today's challenges and we're excited to give our clients even more growth and advancement with this latest release."

New highlights of Version 9.0 include:

Refreshed Interface for faster navigation/b>

The CFM S4 user interface has been completely redesigned from the ground up. The new, responsive design covers every screen and dialog box and is now easier and more intuitive for front line staff to use.

Improved tools and enhancements for CFM S4 administrators
Version 9.0 offers new enhancements and tools for IT staff and others who administer the CFM S4 application, including a network troubleshooting page and a built-in network test tool. IT staff and administrative users can now proactively test the quality of the network connection between the CFM S4 application server and all of the configured CDR devices, without impacting end-user performance or functionality.

Improved device drivers and the certification of new cash recyclers and dispensers
CFM S4 version 9.0 offers major improvements to existing hardware drivers, as well as the addition of two new cash recycling machines to the list of certified hardware—the ARCA CM18 Solo and the CIMA AST7016. Improvements to existing drivers include support for compression with the Glory Vertera 6g recycler and refinement of the Glory RBU-11 driver's communications.

CFM clients already using iQ, CFM's machine-usage analytics solution, can log onto cloudiq.net to download the update. S4 only clients can register on cloudiq.net and download the update once iQ registration is complete. Instructions for updating to Version 9.0 are included in the download package and there is no required deadline for updating to Version 9.0.
