NC4 to Announce Soltra Based Cyber Solutions in Thursday Webcast


EL SEGUNDO, Calif., Dec. 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- NC4, the leading supplier of cyber threat sharing solutions, will hold a special live webcast this Thursday to announce solutions for automated Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) based on the newly acquired Soltra Business. On Friday, the Obama Administration released a special report from the "Commission on Enhancing National Security" that focused in part on Critical Infrastructure Protection and the need for more cyber security specialists. The incoming Trump administration is expected to be briefed on the finding in this report. Cyber threat sharing has also been a focus of the Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act (CISA) legislation and the DHS Automated Indicator Sharing (AIS) program. With participants from Los Angeles, California and Washington DC, the webcast will also address the role of automated threat sharing in fighting cyber-attacks.

Mark Clancy
Mark has over 20 years of experience in cybersecurity including as the CISO for the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation, managing the global security incident response team at Citigroup, as a board member of the FS-ISAC, and was the founder of Soltra.  He is a frequent speaker at both technical and public policy venues and has testified before the US Congress on cybersecurity.


John Cohen
32 years of law enforcement and homeland security experience including Former Acting Undersecretary for Intelligence and Analysis and Counter Terrorism Coordinator, US Dept of Homeland Security and currently a Professor at Rutgers University and ABC News National Security Contributor.

Sean Franklin
Sean is a former VP of Cyber Intelligence at American Express. Sean spent the last 17 years in cybersecurity focused on deploying advanced solutions to combat information security challenges within the financial services sector including integrated threat intelligence, advanced red teams, robust cyber simulation programs and quantified risk management practices. Sean is a board member of the National Cyber Forensics Training Alliance and former board member of the Financial Services ISAC.

George Johnson
