Franklin County Industrial Parks Designated as AT&T Fiber Ready


WINCHESTER, Tenn., Nov. 2, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- As part of AT&T's* continuing efforts to drive economic development and investment in Tennessee, AT&T and representatives from the Franklin County Industrial Development Board and the City of Winchester today announced that the Franklin County Industrial Park and Roy Crownover Park in Winchester, Tennessee have been designated AT&T Fiber Ready.

The AT&T Fiber Ready designation helps economic development leaders more effectively position their communities for site selection by emphasizing the availability of high-speed, fiber-based services. 

In today's world, connectivity is vital to new employers and businesses of every type.

"This designation will help raise awareness about the infrastructure and benefits of Franklin County's Industrial Parks with prospective companies and site selection consultants around the world," said Rep. AT&T has been deploying high-speed, fiber-optic infrastructure across the state for years, totaling more than 1.7 million strand miles of fiber-optics to date, and the AT&T Fiber Ready designation is a tool for economic development leaders to highlight the assets available in their facilities.
