In culmination of its centenary year celebration, today the Toy Industry Association (TIA (News - Alert)), the not-for-profit trade association representing all businesses involved in creating and delivering toys and youth entertainment products for kids of all ages, announced a new partnership with Playworks New York/New Jersey, the local arm of the leading national nonprofit leveraging the power of play to transform children's physical and emotional health. The year-long partnership will provide P.S. 09 Teunis G. Bergen School in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn, NY with a full-time coach to facilitate safe, healthy, and inclusive play for all students during recess and after-school activities.
