GetDismissed Announces Partnership with Road ProtectLOS ANGELES, Oct. 24, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- GetDismissed, the online web service and mobile application to assist California drivers with contesting traffic tickets, announced today a new partnership with Road Protect, a claims service that offers drivers in South Africa and Israel relief, recovery, and representation from road incidents. The GetDismissed service assists drivers in filing paperwork to contest tickets through Trial by Written Declaration, a time-effective option that allows drivers to fight traffic tickets through written documents without having to appear in court. Through the GetDismissed system, drivers can contest traffic tickets simply by taking a picture of their driver's license and traffic ticket and answering short questions about the ticket situation, after which the system creates a defense based on the question responses for the driver to mail in as the Trial by Written Declaration paperwork. Road Protect is a claims service that offers driver protection from a multitude of traffic incidents in South Africa, including reduction of traffic fines. Through this new partnership, Road Protect is also investing knowledge and resources to the development and advancement of the GetDismissed platform; GetDismissed will be utilizing the Road Protect call center in South Africa to introduce consumers to the GetDismissed service, placing outbound calls to a consumer database of over 100,000 people. "We're thrilled to be partnering with such a trailblazing company in South Africa that has brought such importance to the issue of protecting driver's rights in the issuing and contesting of traffic fines," said Steve Miller, President and CEO of GetDismissed. Rob Inglis, Managing Director of Road Protect, said, "GetDimissed is a clear leader in helping California drivers understand their rights to contest traffic tickets, and we're excited to partner with a company that has made the process of contesting tickets so simple and cost-effective in a technologically advanced way."
