Ingenico ePayments Further Enhances Developer Toolset with Three New SDKs

Ingenico ePayments, the online and mobile commerce division of Ingenico Group, today announced the availability of three new Software Development Kits (SDKs) under the Ingenico Connect suite of integration tools and services. The new SDKs are designed to work with Node.js, Python and .NET (News - Alert) server environments, three popular programming languages. With the addition of these SDKs, Ingenico Connect now offers developers a choice of eight SDKs to facilitate an easy connection between the RESTful API and the programming language of the merchant's native mobile clients or servers.

Ingenico Connect already offers support for Java and PHP. With the addition of Node.js, Python and .NET, Ingenico ePayments now offers five different server-side SDKs. Developers can use these to establish a connection and allow encryption of data between the merchant and Ingenico, and wrap the API's functionality in easy to use platform specific objects.

Ingenico Connect also includes a JavaScript SDK that developers can use to embed into their eCommerce clients for web/browser based applications. The JavaScript SDK also supports Ingenico's security mechanism for safe and reliable payments from browser based applications. To enable native, in-app payments, Ingenico offers mobile client SDKs for iOS and Android (News - Alert).

"Developers drive much of the innovation that takes place in online and mobile commerce, and we are committed to providing them with the best possible tools and services to support them in their efforts," said Ludovic Houri, vice president, product at Ingenico ePayments. "With these new SDKs, we now offer easy and secure integration tools for all of the most common programming languages, and we're excited to see the different innovations they will create with Ingenico Connect."

Developers are invited to try out Ingenico's new server SDKs for Node.js, Python and .NET, as well as the other developer tools within Ingenico Connect at this year's Money20/20 Hackathon event. Ingenico Group is a five-star sponsor of the Money20/20 conference and Hackathon, which will take place in Las Vegas from October 22 - 26. All of Ingenico's SDKs are open source and available on the developer portal or directly on GitHub.
