CLIFTON PARK, N.Y., Oct. 18, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Latinos in Tech Innovation and Social Media (LATISM), today unveiled the sponsors joining this year's conference October 19-21 in Orlando, Florida.

Toyota, Univision Communications Inc., JPMorgan Chase, Verizon, Walt Disney World, and Make School will join Title Sponsor Johnson & Johnson in conference focused on Latinos as Change Agents.

The conference includes a powerful lineup of local and nationally renowned influencers and experts hailing from private, public, and nonprofit organizations. The LATISM conference offers more than 20 different discussion panels focused on the 2016 theme-  Latinos as Change Agents in Education, Health, Civic Engagement, Policy, Technology, Business and Diversity & Inclusion.  In addition, LATISM is hosting El Hackathon and The LATISM S.T.E.A.M. Fair.

For the second consecutive year, LATISM is hosting a 48-hour hackathon, 'El Hackathon' event in which genius Latino hackers build innovative solutions that transcend our industry.  Attendees will witness the final winners of the and see demo of their creations.



Also, in its second year, the conference will include the 2016 LATISM S.T.E.A.M. Fair that brings together 2,500 kids (grades 5th to 12th grade) from 150 high schools across the United States who come to showcase the contributions of the new generation of Latinos to the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math. One winner from each field will be awarded a scholarship prize from one of our participating sponsors.
