University of Missouri and Revature Launch No-Cost Coding Bootcamp for GraduatesThe University of Missouri, a member of the Association of American Universities, and Revature, a leading technology talent development company, today announced Revature at Mizzou, a breakthrough, no-cost coding bootcamp for MU graduates of any major, that teaches front-end development languages and places students to work within top companies upon completion. The 12-week program, exclusively for MU graduates, provides the opportunity to learn the latest enterprise-level technology such as Java, and Microsoft.NET (News - Alert), at no cost. Upon completion, students are guaranteed employment with Revature, receive industry certification and continuing education, and are placed in leading companies in the Kansas City and St. Louis areas. The program is expected to develop and hire 500 graduates over the next five years. Additionally, current MU students as well as graduates will have access to Revature's custom online-only learning platform, RevaturePro, where students will learn enterprise level programing skills at their own pace and receive dedicated support from Revature's industry mentors. RevaturePro features free online training programs supporting all levels from beginner to advanced where students can learn Java, Microsoft (News - Alert).NET and other front-end development languages.
