TORONTO, Oct. 17, 2016 /CNW/ - In what's being called an aerial five-pointer, Cory Joseph has achieved a never-before attempted basketball shot. On September 11, 2016 the Toronto Raptor and LG G5 Chief Playmaker took to the windy rooftop of a Toronto skyscraper with an incredible challenge – to sink a basket on a neighbouring rooftop 65 feet away. That's more than double the distance of a typical three-point shot on the basketball court. The challenge was organized by LG Electronics Canada to demonstrate the incredible wide angle camera capabilities of the LG G5 smartphone. LG says the G5 features one of the industry's most advanced smartphone camera technologies including the extra wide angle lens that captures a 135 degree view -- wider than the human eye's natural field of vision.

"When LG asked if I could sink a basket over Adelaide Street from one building rooftop to another – I thought they were crazy, but why not give it a try," Joseph said with a laugh. "I can't believe I sank that basket. It was pretty windy up there but somehow I got it in. What's even crazier is the awesome imagery you can capture on the LG G5 wide angle lens. The entire shot, from one building to another fit in. That's 65 feet away and 27 stories over Adelaide Street!"
