BJG Electronics, Inc. Announces Board of Directors

RONKONKOMA, N.Y., Sept. 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- BJG Electronics, Inc. (www.bjgelectronics.com) today announced the formation of its Board of Directors. Joining founding Flora family members and Rockwood Equity Partners are three industry veterans with 80+ years of executive leadership roles in manufacturing and distribution companies worldwide, including global leaders in the aerospace and defense industries.

Assuming the role as Executive Chairman of the Board is Glenn Davidson. A highly regarded industry veteran, Glenn served as President and CEO of A E Petsche Company, Inc., widely recognized as the world's leading distributor of interconnect products to the military and commercial aviation markets. Glenn currently is CEO of Pinpoint Investments + Advisors, which provides consulting services to industrial distribution companies, with a specific focus on the mil-aero value-added distribution niche.

Also named to the board today is Norman Jordan, who brings to BJG more than 30 years of experience in the aerospace industry. Most recently, he served as President of Triumph Aerostructures-Vought Aircraft Diision, a leading global manufacturer of aerostructures for commercial, military and business jet aircraft. Prior to Triumph, Norman was CEO of UK-based Hampson Industries plc. Previously, as Chairman and CEO of Labinal SA, the France-based subsidiary of Safran SA, he was responsible for Labinal's worldwide activities.

Rounding out the BJG Board is Declan McCarthy, who has held a number of executive positions with manufacturing and distribution companies serving a variety of end markets. Declan currently serves as CFO of PLZ Aeroscience, a North American leader in specialty aerosol product manufacturing. His prior positions include serving as Interim CEO and CFO of Truck Pro, Vice President of Finance for Barnes Distribution and Corporate Controller of MSC Industrial Direct. Earlier in his career, he was Director of Finance for Arrow-Richey Electronics and Arrow Electronics' North American operations.
