Abilis Solutions Awarded Delivery of New OMS Platform to Tennessee Department of Correction

Industry-leading CORIS® platform selected as agency's new offender management system

PORTLAND, ME, March 15, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - Abilis Solutions Corp, a leading company in the design and delivery of systems to meet the complex information needs of corrections agencies around the world, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the contract for delivery of CORIS®, a state-of-the-art SaaS offender management system for Tennessee Department of Correction (TDOC) under Microsoft Azure Government.

The award secures a five-year contract for Abilis, with options for an additional five years, worth as much as $17 million over the ten year span. This win is an important milestone in the growth of the company, and was the result of an open, competitive and rigorous procurement process that spanned many months. The project will be jointly managed from a new office in Nashville, TN, and the Abilis headquarters in Montrea. It is expected that the new system will be live across all TDOC facilities by January, 2018.

Once the new system is operational in Tennessee, all 14 State prisons, 10 facilities, 30,000 offender records and 7,000 users will be operating under the CORIS® OMS platform.
