CDS in Texas is a financial management service and a direct vendor for the state's Department of Aging and Disability Services. CDS in Texas empowers people with disabilities to achieve a level of independence in the community by directing their own attendant care. As the employers of their own companies, the individuals are responsible for recruiting, training, and managing their attendants. CDS in Texas administers the individuals' payrolls, files federal and state employer taxes on their behalf, and completes quarterly and annual employer tax returns.
