PROMETRIKA to Participate in Society for Clinical Data Management Annual Conference in San Diego


PROMETRIKA (www.prometrika.com), a Clinical Research Organization, has announced it will be taking an active role at the Society for Clinical Data Management (SCDM) Annual Conference in San Diego, September 11-14. The largest Clinical Data Management event in the industry, the SCDM conference provides a unique opportunity for members to engage with colleagues from around the world to discuss their ever-evolving discipline. More than 700 people attend annually.

"I am thrilled that a number of my skilled and experienced team will be participating in thoughtful discussions on key topics at the event," said Dr. Miganush Stepanians, President and CEO of PROMETRIKA. "As panelists, they will be sharing their insights on a wide range of data management and clinical operation challenges and opportunities."

What Clinical Personnel Wish Data Managers Knew about Clinical Operations and Vice Versa. LuAnn Sabounjian, RN, BSN, MBA, Head of Clinical Operations and Drug Safety. Monday, September 12 from 2:00pm - 3:30pm.

A panel of two data managers and wo clinical operations representatives will discuss the roots of misunderstandings that often exist between the two groups and offer suggestions on how organizations can begin to bridge the divide.



Clinical Data Management: Data Storage or Data Science? Cortney Greenhalge, Clinical Data Manager II. Tuesday, September 13 from 8:30am - 10:00am.

A panel will discuss how the accelerating needs of sponsors, and the availability of new research tools and "big data" in clinical research are dramatically changing the role of the Data Manager.


Challenges to the Adoption of Bring Your Own Device in Clinical Trials. Kathy Zheng, MPH, Senior Project Manager. Tuesday, September 13 from 3:30pm - 5:00pm.

A panel will help the audience gain a better understanding of "bring your own device" (BYOD) in clinical trials, including key factors that affect the appropriateness of BYOD, examples of successful uses, and the difference between BYOD and "procured device" ePRO in a clinical trial.
