Global Human Answers Platform Lucid Announces "Fulcrum Quality" to Set New Industry Standard for Market Research


Lucid, the global human answers platform, today announced the first independent, third-party-verified quality assurance and measurement program for market research sample. The program allows market researchers to deliver more accurate insights by rigorously testing multiple characteristics of over 40 major sample panels. The Fulcrum (News - Alert) Exchange Quality and Composition Program, or "Fulcrum Quality," was created in partnership with sample industry expert Chuck Miller of digital agency DM2.

Fulcrum is the first and largest programmatic marketplace for researchers to reach "sample," or online survey takers. Fulcrum brings buyers and suppliers together through technology, much in the way that programmatic platforms revolutionized advertising.

With Fulcrum Quality, Lucid now reinforces the transparency needed in an open marketplace with hundreds of partners. Sample buyers and sample suppliers can access a clear, detailed, and rigorously vetted view into the many characteristics and metrics of the enormous respondent pool - over 80 million people - made available through Fulcrum. This quality and composition program has beenan internal function of Lucid's Fulcrum software for over a year, but is now available publicly as a wholly independent industry-wide quality standard.

Fulcrum Quality will rank the top 20 sample suppliers on a quarterly basis. Rankings are based on data from the Lucid platform, Fulcrum survey performance, and responses to a benchmark questionnaire applied to the sample panels over six previous quarters.
