We are thrilled to advance the conversation about this leading-edge immersive technology at 'VR On The Lot,'" said Chris Hercik, SVP, Creative + Content, The Foundry @ Time Inc.

Bryan Singer, the Director of the "X-Men" series of blockbuster movies, which have generated more than $1.5 billion at the worldwide box-office, will also speak. Screenwriters Michael Dougherty ("X-Men: Apocalypse," "Superman Returns" and "X-Men 2") and John MacInnes ("Call of Duty") will also appear to discuss writing and creating compelling content for viewers.

"This is an exciting time for VR as new products and technologies bring truly immersive experiences to mainstream users," said Dr. Lisa Su, president and CEO of AMD. "'VR On The Lot' is more than just a showcase for premiering cutting-edge new VR experiences, the event provides a great opportunity for leaders from the technology and content industries to come together to better understand and address the growing VR business opportunities."

Leading the discussion on producing VR content will be Producer's Guild President Lori McCreary ("Madam Secretary") and PGA New Media Council Chairman John Canning (NBC). "VR presents an exciting opportunity for content producers to use their talents and creative experience to create a new generation of immersive entertainment," said McCreary. "We look forward to exploring the vital role production professionals will bring to this emerging industry," she added.

The conference will focus on two key themes of the VR business. "VRE Creative" sessions will communicate "best practices" to ensure successful production of "premium VR consumer experiences." "VROI" (VR Return on Investment) business presentations will focus on distribution, monetization, VR investment, sales and opportunities in the market now, along with case studies from VR and 360-branded content with Kroger, Nestle and Kellogg's, ranging from Demi Lovato to the Pope.

"Marketers are recognizing that VR is an immersive and impactful new way to build engagement with their consumers," said Julie Kantrowitz of All Good Partners, based in New York. "Brands focused on ROI need up-to-date intelligence to evaluate, develop and implement a comprehensive strategy that will ultimately move the needle on sales. 'VR On The Lot' provides the perfect forum to deliver all that and help them succeed."

Educational partners include Chapman University Dodge College of Film and Media Arts and the USC School of Cinematic Arts. "As VR impacts the world of entertainment, Chapman University's new Institute for Creative Reality will prepare students to create content for this exciting new medium. We're thrilled to be participating in 'VR On The Lot,'" said Madeline Warren, Trustee Professor of Film at Chapman University.
