LOS ANGELES, Aug. 23, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- MaiTai Global's internationally-acclaimed tech competition Extreme Tech Challenge (XTC) is joining forces with the LA Auto Show's AutoMobility LA,a merger of the show's Connected Car Expo and Press and Trade Days, this November 14-17, 2016. Currently accepting submissions through August 26, companies have the opportunity to pitch their ideas for a chance to become the next prodigious automotive startup and attend the XTC 2017 Finals on Necker Island, owned by special guest judge Sir Richard Branson. The partnership between AutoMobility LA and XTC 2017 is the new paradigm of what lies ahead for the monumental union of technology and the auto industry as it stands today.

Directly preceding LA Auto Show 2016, AutoMobility LA is a marquee event where the automotive and technology industries meet to discuss the future of transportation and mobilization. The four-day event allows for innovative individuals and enterprises with brilliant, cutting-edge ideas to convene within a collaborative space for networking, education and witnessing breaking news unfold within the industry.
