Spirion Announces Strategic Advisory Board of Top CISOs and Privacy Experts

Members include security experts from top industry verticals, including healthcare organizations Surescripts, the University of South Carolina and The CSO Advisors, Inc. The team of experts will collaborate on Spirion's strategic planning, business, product, corporate development and partnering initiatives.

Spirion's Strategic Advisory Board members include:

Paul Calatayud, chairman of the Spirion Strategic Advisory Board and chief information security officer at Surescripts - Calatayud is an information security and risk management executive with 15 years of experience ranging from Fortune 20 to start-up organizations across retail, healthcare, defense, military, medical device, cloud/SAAS and banking. He has leadership and SME experience managing compliance and regulation programs: FISMA, HIPAA, SOX, PCI (News - Alert)-DSS, SOC, ISO 27001.

James Perry, chief information security officer at the University of South Carolina - Perry,an industry veteran of more than 20 years, serves as the CISO for the University of South Carolina where he is responsible for the university's information security and incident response programs. He has extensive knowledge and experience in the education sector and served in a similar capacity for the University of Tennessee. In addition to his leadership experience, Perry a strong background in HIPAA and PCI Compliance, security program maturity assessments, security penetration testing as well as security risk and vulnerability assessments.



Rick Orloff, Chief Security Officer, The CSO Advisors, Inc.- Orloff has developed and lead critical security programs at one of the largest Fortune 5 companies in the world, Apple (News - Alert) Inc., and served as the CISO at eBay Inc. Currently, he is the Chief Security Officer at The CSO Advisors, Inc. and is a member of several advisory boards where he reviews and contributes to corporate strategies, product roadmaps and market opportunities. Orloff is passionate about building security capabilities that focus on solutions delivering meaningful and actionable results.
