INVESTOR ALERT: Goldberg Law PC Announces Securities Class Action Lawsuit against Orbital ATK, Inc. and Encourages Investors with Losses to Contact the Firm

Goldberg Law PC (the "Firm") announces that a class action lawsuit has been filed against Orbital ATK (News - Alert), Inc. ("Orbital" or the "Company") (NYSE: OA). Investors who purchased or otherwise acquired shares between June 1, 2015 and August 9, 2016 inclusive (the "Class Period") are encouraged to contact the Firm in advance of the October 11, 2016 lead plaintiff motion deadline.

If you are a shareholder who suffered a loss during the Class Period, click here to participate. In addition, we advise you to contact Michael Goldberg or Brian Schall, of Goldberg Law PC, 1999 Avene of the Stars, Suite 1100, Los Angeles, CA (News - Alert) 90067, at 800-977-7401, to discuss your rights without cost to you. You can also reach us through the firm's website at http://www.Goldberglawpc.com, or by email at [email protected].

The class in this case has not yet been certified, and until certification occurs, you are not represented by an attorney. If you choose to take no action, you can remain an absent class member.

The complaint alleges that throughout the Class Period, Orbital made materially false and misleading statements, and/or failed to disclose: that Orbital lacked effective control over financial reporting; that the Company failed to record an anticipated loss on a $2.3 billion long-term contract with the U.S. Army after the loss became evident in 2015, as required by generally accepted accounting principles; and that as a result of the above, Orbital's public statements were materially false and misleading at all relevant times. On August 10, 2016, the Company announced that it would miss its SEC (News - Alert) Form 10-Q filing deadline for the most recent quarter and that several previous financial statements are no longer reliable due to misstatements relating to the above-mentioned contract with the U.S. army. When this news was released, shares of Orbital dropped in value, causing investors harm.
