W2O Group Appoints Angela Gillespie Chief Strategy Officer of Its Global MedTech Practice


W2O Group, a network of complementary integrated marketing and communications firms powered by analytics and insights, announced today that it has named Angela Gillespie Chief Strategy Officer of its Global MedTech Practice, which has been a cornerstone of the firm's legacy healthcare offering.

Gillespie, who started the agency's medical device practice in 2007, has rejoined the firm in its Minneapolis office after working in house as a marketing executive at leading innovative medical device companies for the last several years. She has 20 years of agency and in-house experience most recently as Vice President of Marketing for NeuWave Medical (recently acquired by J&J) and Senior Market Development Leader for Covidien's Peripheral and Venous Vascular Business divisions (acquired by Medtronic in 2015). Her remit is to double the firm's partnerships with MedTech companies over the next five years. In this newly created role, she will drive strategy, operations and alignment of the medical device portfolio and offering across all W2O Group agencies.
