TORONTO, July 26, 2016 /CNW/ - Breaking Data Corp. (TSXV: BKD) (the "Company" or "Breaking Data") is pleased to announce that Charles F. Theiss and Deborah Richman have joined the Company as Chief Revenue Officer as Product Manager respectively.

Charles F. Theiss has more than thirty years of professional experience serving in key senior executive management positions and advisory roles with well-known legacy and digital media brands. For the last fourteen years, Charles has leveraged research, analytics and industry insights to create value for his clients. He is an established business consultant with a focus on integrated media solutions including business development, strategic alliances and escalating advertising sales revenue.

Charles' client experience includes Fox Interactive Media, CBS Television Station Group, OK Magazine, MAVTV, The Sportsnetwork, The College Board, Lucas Oil, The Fred Rogers Company, RightMedia, KlowdTV, Screenvision Cinema Network, The Film Detective, V-Me Television, Real Savvy Moms, and others.

Serving as a senior executive with well-known media organizations, he launched the wireless platform "CNN Everywhere", re-launched the CBS Television Station's websites, developed Looksmart's "Find Articles", reorganized Lycos' advertising sales management and staff, and re-launched the MavTV cable network. At CNN, he served as Senior Vice President of television advertising sales and was promoted to manage CNN's Digital advertising sales, business development and ad operations. He has held senior leadership positions with Terra Lycos, Looksmart, and FX overseeing their business development and advertising sales. He began his career working in the advertising agency business, moving into cable network affiliate relations and advertising sales at Group W Satellite Communications. Charles graduated Magna Cum Laude from Iona College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and economics.

Deborah Richman serves as head of product and strategy. She has held executive roles at technology and information-based companies, including Dun & Bradstreet, Nielsen, Starz Media, Overstock, About.com and Looksmart. Debby brings 20+ years of experience launchig, turning around and growing digital presence for brands and end-users. She relishes translating leading edge technology into practical, user-friendly mobile products. Ms. Richman received her Bachelor of Arts from Middlebury College, and MBA from Dartmouth's Amos Tuck School of Business Administration.
