The University of Tokyo Selects Mellanox EDR InfiniBand to Accelerate its Newest Supercomputer


Mellanox (News - Alert)® Technologies, Ltd. (NASDAQ:MLNX), a leading supplier of high-performance, end-to-end interconnect solutions for data center servers and storage systems, announced today its Switch-IB™ 2 EDR 100Gb/s InfiniBand Switch systems and ConnectX®-4 adapters have been chosen by the Information Technology Center at the University of Tokyo to accelerate its new supercomputer for computational science, engineering by large-scale simulations, and data analysis.
