iCIMS Plans Move to Landmark Bell Works Building, Commits to Continued Growth in NJ

MATAWAN, N.J., July 20, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- iCIMS, Inc., a leading provider of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) talent acquisition solutions, announced that it will be joining a collection of top-tier technology companies and moving the company's headquarters to the redesigned Bell Works building in the summer of 2017.

Somerset Development President, Ralph Zucker, iCIMS CEO, Colin Day, and Holmdel Mayor, Eric Hinds, sign the lease for iCIMS' move to Bell Works.

iCIMS, recently recognized for the tenth consecutive year on the Inc. 500 | 5000 list of America's Fastest Growing Companies, is thriving with stable revenue increases of 30% or more for the past ten consecutive quarters. As iCIMS expands to serve more than 3,200 contracted customers, the company continues to hire new talent across the organization and will soon approach 600 employees. The company's continuous advancements, need for space to house its rapidly growing operations, and desire to keep its workforce together in one corporate campus located in New Jersey, made it an ideal anchor tenant for the Bell Works community.

"It is incredible the way this journey has truly come full circle for me. I have very fond memories of the old Bell Labs building and the brilliance it produced," stated Colin Day, Founder and chief executive officer of iCIMS. "George Liou, my mentor and Chairman of the iCIMS Board of Directors, had worked in the space for 10 years. Early on in my career, when I had worked for George at Comrise, I myself spent a significant amount of time recruiting exceptional candidates to work in those offices. The building has ha an enormous impact on the way I perceive business in the state of New Jersey. Transitioning our company to a space that I have known so well is rewarding to say the least."

Constructed between 1959 and 1962 as one of the final projects of prolific architect Eero Saarinen, the Bell Works building is located in Holmdel, NJ, only nine miles from iCIMS' current corporate headquarters in Matawan, NJ. The two-million-square-foot building is the former headquarters of the historic Bell Laboratories and was once the staging ground for revolutionary work in telecommunication satellites, cellular phones, and fiber optics. Following a long period of vacancy, redevelopment is now underway at the landmark facility, including re-imagining the interior spaces to foster innovation, collaboration, and commerce. The re-designed interior will include work spaces, presentation and entertaining venues, eateries, service businesses, and other amenities.

"With innovation taking us into the future so rapidly, it can be easy to forget the past. We all remember when telecommunications giants like AT&T and Lucent Bell Labs were the primary drivers of innovation and economic abundancy in the State. Today, I'm happy to see a different breed of technology provider help guide Central Jersey to a new era of success," said Lt. Governor Guadagno. "Creating quality jobs with tremendous capacity for growth is exactly what iCIMS has proven to do year after year, and I look forward to seeing what this fast-paced organization can accomplish."

iCIMS is set to occupy 350,000 square feet of space, spanning four floors in the Northwest Tower, one of four within the complex. This move will provide a 50 percent increase in office space for the company, allowing iCIMS to eventually house more than 2,000 employees to keep pace with its strategic growth plans.

"The growth of a company is certainly rewarding, but watching it grow the right way, year after year, with consistent profitability is something that I am genuinely proud of," said Colin Day. "Reaching a milestone like outgrowing our Matawan, NJ offices is a testament to iCIMS' ability to consistently meet strategic growth goals while maintaining our focus on providing a best-to-market software platform and excellent service to our expanding customer base. Bell Works is an ideal home for us; we're looking forward to ushering in a new era of technology growth and innovation in the Garden State," concluded Day.
