SkyBitz Receives UL 913 Certification for Galaxy GTP4050 Asset Tracking DeviceSkyBitz®, the leader in commercial telematics, today announced that its Galaxy GTP4050 global asset tracking product has been successfully certified to UL Standard 913 for intrinsically safe apparatus for use in Class I, II, III, Division 1, hazardous locations. Now with the UL 913 certification, the SkyBitz GTP4050 is the only two-way communication, GPS-satellite asset tag (News - Alert) that is certified intrinsically safe for Europe (ATEX), International (IECEx), U.S. and Canada (UL). The SkyBitz Galaxy GTP4050 is ideal for businesses with global operations and assets in hazardous locations (HAZLOC) or haul hazardous materials (HAZMAT), providing complete visibility of their assets even in the most remote locations.
