Eckerd Kids Selects Unit4 Business World On! Based on Strong Knowledge and Experience with Non-Profit Sector

Unit4, a fast growing leader in enterprise applications for service-centric organizations, today announced that Eckerd Kids has selected Unit4 Business World On! to replace its legacy Microsoft (News - Alert) Dynamics Solomon ERP.

Eckerd Kids, based in Clearwater, FL, is one of the largest non-profit child and family service organizations in the US, serving more than 25,000 children and their families each year through life-changing child welfare, juvenile justice and workforce development programs in 20 states and the District of Columbia. The organization has signed a five-year SaaS (News - Alert) agreement and will work with Unit4 partner ITK Solutions for implementation. Other vendors considered during the evaluation included NetSuite and Accumatica.

"Unit4 was chosen for its strong knowledge and experience in the non-profit sector," said Nicole Stroebel, Controller, for Eckerd Kids "Business World On! provides Eckerd Kids with the flexibility we need to adapt to future changes and requirements."

"The cloud environment of Unit4 Business World On! allows non-profits to access information when they need it, from where they need it," said Scott Kamieneski, SVP and Managing Director of Unit4 North America. "The People Platform is flexible to allow change, and adaptable enough that authorized users can do it in-house. With the regulations and funding requirements of non-profits, that flexibility equals time and financial savings."

With strong involvement with InsideNGO and NetHope, Unit4 has substantial experience with hundreds of large NGOs and non-profit organizations around the world.
