Quali Appoints IT Industry Veteran Shashi Kiran as Chief Marketing OfficerSANTA CLARA, Calif. and GANEY-TIKVA, Israel, July 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Quali, the leading provider of Cloud Sandboxes for automating and accelerating the DevOps lifecycle, today announced the appointment of Shashi Kiran as the company's new Chief Marketing Officer. Kiran is a former marketing leader at Cisco Systems, where he most recently served as Cisco's Head of Worldwide Marketing for Datacenter and Cloud Networking overseeing key initiatives such as Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI), Intercloud Fabric, network, storage and integrated infrastructure solutions. In that role, Kiran oversaw the worldwide marketing strategy and execution for Cisco's multibillion-dollar datacenter and cloud networking business. His team built out an extensive partner ecosystem with 40+ partners for Cisco ACI, including F5 Networks, Citrix Netscaler, Radware, Puppet, Chef, CliQr and many more. In other previous roles at Cisco, Kiran served as Senior Director and head of worldwide marketing for Cisco's $14 billion dollar switching portfolio and was also responsible for Cisco's foray into SDN and open networking initiatives working as a cross-portfolio company marketing lead. Prior to that he led marketing for Cisco routing, WAN optimization and data center security. He also launched Cisco's first developer contest that drew developers from 75 countries to engage with Cisco's products. Most recently he served as CMO at Appcito, a March Capital backed application delivery startup leadig up to its acquisition in June. Previously Kiran has also held product line management and marketing leadership positions at Nortel Networks, Euclid Inc. (acquired by e4e), and as the marketing head for the business division of Center for Development of Advanced Computing (a Department of Electronics initiative with the Government of India).
